My Journey, My Words,

As a Managing Director, Mr. Taral S. Shah, a Civil Engineer, has joined the company. He has established himself to be a technocrat, having played a vital part in the construction framework and procurement of many projects. To make Shivalik a bigger brand, I’m in charge of supervising the construction execution process and quality checks. Under my surveillance, I ensure every brick is layered with precision.

I have a knack for detailing and hence, construction processes under me go through tough quality check processes to enable a strong foundation. I saw the demand for Work-From-Home spaces and indicated that they will be included as an integral part of their residential endeavors. And developed Lofy, which is a one-stop solution for all your interior needs.

Shivalik Group has grown to become one of Gujarat’s leading real estate development companies, headquartered in Ahmedabad. While its primary focus is on commercial projects, the company today has a diversified portfolio covering key segments of the real estate market like high-End residential projects, affordable housing, retail, and redevelopment projects. Mr. Taral Shah is a Real Estate Developer, MD at The Shivalik Group as well as the Co-Founder at S&H Constructions, LOFY India. A young, passionate entrepreneur who prioritizes health & fitness. He is a Sports Person and someone who is keen to adapt to real estate trends.

Entrepreneurial Journey

Since Shivalik’s inception in 1998, the firm has solely worked on residential projects. Taral Shah became the company’s Managing Director in 2003, and it was then that the company expanded into Commercial Projects. Taral Shah is also a civil engineer who has proven to be a technocrat by playing a vital part in the construction framework and procurement of many projects.

Personal Life - I love to spend time with my family: wife, son, brother, and parents. My son and I play cricket frequently.

Process - “What India has done in the last 4 decades, we have to do in the next 10 years”.

Technocracy - I firmly believe that the reins of leadership should be in the hands of people with high-level expertise.

Fitness - Physical activity is like a stress-buster and revitalizer for me. It helps me unwind and clear my mind to plan for the future.

DNA - Real Estate to become a comprehensive solution for not only infrastructure but also Interior Design, Home Design, Maintenance, and even tiny space solutions.

Beliefs - I believe in growing hand in hand with industry leaders.

Goals - My vision is to establish Shivalik Projects in the top 5 companies and project it as a company for the next generation. We would want to cater to all the segments of real estate and achieve a goal of around 50 million sq. ft. in coming years.

Challenges - I precisely believe that the Real Estate industry is volatile & risks are always a part of it. I try to be proactive with my personal & professional goals so that I can set an example for the people associated with me can look up to.

Process - “Commitment to deadlines is the key", I believe in setting timelines for every task & a smooth process for the work. Scheduled work, effective deadlines, and transparent goals are the key to successful work culture. I believe in choosing the right people for the right job, even if it takes time.

Minimalism - Less is more, my belief towards minimalism. I make my schedule accurate & that guides me to curate a proper judgement on any challenges faced.
